Lotta whiny entitled dudebro fuckers.

I'm staring out of the feud myself - wasn't there, won't pick a side. The one thing Moore said I do object to was saying he'd prefer readers of Morrison not to read him because they lack taste and discrimination.Cat Vincenthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15429960793468561888noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1334959536493116644.post-59271566862647914492012-08-20T16:15:27.704+01:002012-08-20T16:15:27.704+01:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1334959536493116644.post-51281015305593118932012-04-19T12:58:41.317+01:002012-04-19T12:58:41.317+01:00Maybe it's another manifestion of OCD in me? I work out font sizes and count words on a page of existing books to calculate how many pages I am looking at if it's ever published. All this time sapping nonsense that prevents me from actually getting on and putting more actual words into the mix. I'm trying to ignore word count on Dorty Wee Shite at the moment, as it's really not important - I can't see me being able to do anything with it. Although I know its a complete waste of time, I can't help wanting to write it to see what might happen to the characters.Jaysterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14425406640893427927noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1334959536493116644.post-75098344892836507952012-04-07T12:32:11.188+01:002012-04-07T12:32:11.188+01:00"the jammie dodgers are mine"

So if it gets unwieldy remember you can cut.

And I tend to agree with your observation - some of the books which barely scrape 60,000 are the best, the most enjoyable. I think its also a time thing - a lot of those were written in a different period, driven by different goals. Now the publishing market seems to suggest that 300-500 pages is the average sensible goal.

So it goes.

I have "on writing" sitting, but still not given it a decent run. Better get on that. On other hand, I have a short story to rewrite a dozen times this weekend. So stop distracting me with your damned custard creams! (Though a bourbon cream or a jammy dodger wouldn't go amiss, cheers)remotepushhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07115999605700091280noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1334959536493116644.post-3328228188116718572012-03-27T17:12:03.075+01:002012-03-27T17:12:03.075+01:00Great to have you back and thanks for the name che...Great to have you back and thanks for the name check and the pointer towards you on twitter. see you out there! moiraMoirahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02031362965457408527noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1334959536493116644.post-17113355815625804292009-12-08T00:12:26.606+00:002009-12-08T00:12:26.606+00:00I think I would pay to see that as well.
